There are few things that Irene Lochrin hasn’t done for her beloved Temple Swimming Club over the last 40 years, where she has devoted on average 20 hours a week.

To ensure the Club continues, Irene is always looking to encourage swimmers, source new volunteers and support everyone that has passed through the doors of the club.  She has also been a member of the West of Scotland Federation of Swimming, providing training and competition to clubs in this area.

Irene is always willing to pass on her knowledge and expertise to help develop fellow coaches skills, specifically in swimming for people with a disability, and she works tirelessly and enthusiastically to create opportunities for those with disabilities in Scotland to swim.
