Originally looking to the Wheelchair Dance Sport Association for help with his first dance at his wedding, Patrick McGeough found the results of the sport so impressive that he and his wife Lin decided they wanted to help the organisation develop.
Patrick has applied his expertise, as well as his infectious energy, over the last five years into working with the founders to help wheelchair dance grow.
Now the volunteer CEO, Patrick has become a trained instructor with his own wheelchair dance group in Watford.
Patrick has changed the face of the organisation, by empowering its founders, who are now free to travel the country offering training courses, taster days and workshops in the sport.
The growth of this sport in the UK owes so much to Patrick.
