Torch Trophy Trust Awards 2016 presented by HRH Prince Michael of Kent

Described as a ‘truly inspirational young man’, Thriston Brady has been a committed volunteer at the Manchester United Foundation since 2013.

Thriston spends on average 3 days a week helping coach and develop young people and, on top of this, he volunteers at local handball sessions and leads a youth exchange to the Netherlands.

Thriston is a role model to young people in his community and he has never wavered from his personal development, earning various qualifications in coaching and sports volunteering.

This inaugural award was given in memory of former long serving Trustee, Jimmy Hill OBE.
